By the end of this lesson you should be able to:
  • Describe the four basic shooting positions when discharging a rifle.
  • Describe the proper shooting position when discharging a shotgun.
  • State the four basic types of rifle sights and explain how each works.
  • Describe the proper procedure for aiming a rifle and pointing a shotgun.
  • State at least three questions you should ask yourself before firing at any target.
  • Provide at least three examples of unacceptable targets.
