Lesson 8 looks at the social responsibilities of the firearm user.

By the end of this lesson you should be able to:

State the two major causes of firearms related deaths in Canada.

List three frequent contributing factors which may lead to firearm accidents.

Describe what needs to be done if you should lose or have a firearm stolen.

State five types of firearm hazards and the appropriate precautions to take to prevent these from happening

List at least five examples of socially responsible behaviour for a firearms user.
